  • What is cPTSD?
  • The problems of the popularisation of PTSD in culture, Hollywood’s “redemption of the tortured hero” motif.
  • The “counter-phobic attitude” and its relevance to PTSD understanding.
  • The neurobiology and endocrinology of trauma and PTSD.
  • Therapeutic concepts: Reichian “armouring”, Scaer’s “shaking” and the IEMT “Lynchpin” model.
  • Case studies and examples of successful and unsuccessful PTSD treatment.
